Philippine Generations brought to the community 'The Proud History of Philippine Cuisine'. Gathering a wide British audience to take part in seminars dedicated to the delicacies of Philippine delights. And special guests Romy Dorotan, leading New York Filipino chef and Amy Besa, author of 'Memories of Philippine Kitchen' who shared on stage their experiences and food knowledge. The success of the night sizzlied down to the collaborative work of Philippine Generations and Asia House, who brought an insightful display of Philippine Cuisine, Literature and delivered a true taste of Philippine's proud evolution in food. MC Zani wins the 'UK Beatbox Championships 2008' Full of faith and focused on winning, the crowd saluted his every beat, his style showed versatility and originality.. the final round was a close call but when the winner was announced by a show of hands, it was all too emotional. Here he holds the keys to his new Vauxhall car worth 12 grand.. not only winning the crowd and the judges.. and he's now nabbed the title 'UK Beatbox Champ 2008'.. Congratulations MC Zani!! |

Mestiza and her live band gave a soulful performance on stage getting the night banging on the right vibe and with other live acts from MC Zani and Clencha, it was a Philippine all cast tribute. So much talent on stage and dedication to what they do, it was an absolute pleasure to witness a collective of inspired individuals. |
